This position would be Purely Contract for the next 6-8 weeks. The position would pay an All-Inclusive Pay-rate of $95.00 Per Hour.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for managing backend services such as routers, servers, and switches. Candidates must be capable of investigating, analyzing, and resolving network and hardware problems conveyed from the computer users and monitoring systems. The individual will communicate with the users of all departments ensuring network issues are handled professionally, and that the highest quality of service is provided. Communication skills and attention to details are essential to this position.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
o Candidate Must be experience with HP Servers
o Candidate MUST be experienced with Microsoft Active Directory
o Candidate Must have experience with HP System Insight Manager
o Implement and maintains connectivity standards allowing PCs to communicate with MST Active Directory and HP System Insight Manager
o Maintains a technical inventory of current configuration of all servers, PCs, shares, printers and software installations
o Prepares and maintains accurate and detailed problem/resolution records
o Tracks frequency and nature of problems
o Conduct product evaluations of upgraded or new hardware and software identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits
o Assist with on-going statistical analysis of system load, to determine optimal operating efficiencies and assist in capacity planning algorithms.
o Assesses user accounts, upgrades, removes and configures network printing devices, directory structures, rights, network security and software on file servers
o Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems while maintaining minimal system outages.
Knowledge/Skill:
o A minimum of 4 years’ experience in MST Active Directory
o A minimum of 4 years’ experience in HP System Insight Manager
o A minimum of 4 years’ experience with HP Servers
o Thorough knowledge of server level operations and software principles utilizing Windows 2003, 2008, and Linux operating systems
o Good knowledge and experience with LAN systems and hardware such as Cisco and HP, including experience with managed switches and VLAN capability preferred
o Knowledge of local area networks and wide area networks, including experience with networking essentials such as DNS, DHCP, NAT, packet filtering and advanced routing
o In-depth knowledge of application packages must include Antivirus, backup routines, network sharing, Lotus Notes e-mail suites
o Ability to install and maintain a variety of operating systems as well as other related hardware and software
o Good organizational habits required
o MCSE, CCNA+, and Server+ an asset
o Available but not limited to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM
