Network Administrator Job in Fort Worth 76135, Texas US

We are looking for a Network Administrator with proven IT helpdesk/network troubleshooting experience. This position, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is responsible for maintaining and providing support and ongoing maintenance of all the company’s desktop computers, laptops, printers, copiers, and fax machines. This position, reporting to the CFO, is the first point of contact for all technical support and is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues.

 

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoots computer-related and networking problems

· Lead point of contact with internal clients; delivery of excellent customer service

· Installs, upgrades and maintains computer hardware and software at the end user's site

· Coordinates the creation of network accounts and services with the appropriate network administrator

· Responsible for configuring, installing and troubleshooting network printers, laptops, workstations and their connectivity

· Maintains technical expertise in all products

· Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, able to work independently and experience with work environments at multiple locations. Candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Additional requirements include:

· An Associates in Computer Science, desired, or the equivalent combination of experience, education or certification

· Certifications, preferred (Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE), Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I)

· At least 5 years work experience in Information Technology and Systems Administration

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); strong phone skills

· Self-directed and independent

· Knowledge of PC and Server operating systems -- Microsoft Office Systems and MS Exchange Server required.  Proficient in Window 7; XP; and Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008.  Network security, firewalls, and VPN.  Experience with routers, switches and wireless.

· Sound experience on Email Archiving solutions

· Knowledge on Backup and Restore of exchange infrastructure

· Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and flexible schedule on occasion, possibly some Saturday’s involved

· Applies analytical and innovative thinking; strong attention to detail

· Effective time management and problem solving skills

· Ability to identify and correct/advise on operational issues in client computer systems
