Power IT is a leading IT Managed Services Provider business headquartered in the beautiful northern Michigan community of Petoskey. We are growing and are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our technical team for the Petoskey and/or Traverse City markets.

Position:
Network Admin - IT Technician T2/T3
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project installations
- Tier 2/3 Support in MSP environment
- Pre-Sales Design, Quoting and Presenting
- Project Management
Qualifications - General:
- Excellent and demonstrated communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated vision to see the big picture, assume responsibility and execute to high standards.
- Self starter, strong work ethic
- Prompt and reliable
Qualifications - Technical and Specific:
- 2-5 Years of IT industry experience
- Associates Degree or Certs preferred
- MCSE or CCNA completed or in-progress
- Mastery of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange
- Experience with WTS, Citrix, VMWare and other virtualization environments
- SQL and other Database or Development skills a plus
- Solid experience with L2/L3 networking, routing, security and firewall environments
- EMR and/or experience in Healthcare IT (HIT) a plus
- Experience in a MSP environment a strong plus
Excellent communication and organization skills are needed to thrive in this environment. This is not the job for an introvert! You must be a self-starter and enjoy working hard.
Employee could be expected to work varied hours, including some evening and weekend jobs. Position may occasionally involve lifting of heavy objects or cabling.
Position could to be based in Petoskey, Traverse City or a combination thereof.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary/wage commensurate with experience, $40-65k/yr.
