We are seeking a forward thinking networker with high energy and drive, superior problem solving skills and independent decision-making abilities.  You will be responsible for the overall network and systems administration of a multi-location infrastructure that supports a VMware and Linux production and development environment.  The right candidate will have experience with Cisco firewalls, Cisco routers, CentOS Linux, VMware, and virtual network devices.

Responsibilities include:

• Configure and update Cisco switches, firewalls and routers.
• Configure and maintain VMware virtual switches, firewalls and routers.
• Administer and manage remote and local VPN connections.
• Monitors and evaluates network capacity and operations to ensure optimal system performance
• Provides desktop client support.
• Experience with CentOS Linux in a VMware environment, High Availability systems and NetApp storage area network systems preferable
• Must be highly organized, self motivated and have the ability to take ownership of specific projects
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, teamwork, and user interaction skills
• Strong network and security troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and policies.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Industry training or certification in network administration and management
• Minimum of 2-5years in depth practical experience with network administration in open source environment.
