Our Network Services Dept. provides a wide range of services from installing and maintaining PCs and services to installing and maintaining switches, routers and firewalls.
The individual selected will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a medium to large enterprise environment. Must have a thorough knowledge of network hardware and operating systems, Cisco perferred. Will be able to diagnose and fix problems on local and wide area networks. Be able to install and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN concentrators. Will have experience planning, designing, documenting and implementing local and wide area networks. Must show initiative and be able to deliver exceptional customer service. Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Net Apps Storage Systems experience preferred. The services performed include: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and upgrading existing operational environment consisting of switches, routers, and firewalls. Coordinating the installations of the backbone wiring for the LAN/WAN connectivity. Providing desktop/workstation support for REJIS employees and clients. Performing preventative maintenance on REJIS network equipment. Visiting client agencies to conduct pre-installation and/or preventive maintenance on network equipment; checking for actual or potential environmental hazards to the equipment; documenting client complaints regarding system and transferring existing devices from one client site to another as needed. Monitor local and wide area networks for performance. Recommending network security procedures and policies.
