Job Description:

We are a government organization who is dedicated to our community. We have an immediate opening for a Network Engineer / Analyst who will be responsible for evaluating the performance of our network and phone systems. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing WANs, LANs, active directory, network hardware, and servers.

We are looking for Network Analyst with knowledge of LAN/WAN principles and technology including routing protocols, Cisco routing switching, and a basic understanding of network security.

What you need:

- 1+ experience as a network engineer or system administrator
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
- Experience working with local area network systems and technical infrastructure communication issues

The Network Analyst responsibilities will include:

- Support various network systems ranging from troubleshooting networks (e.g. switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, physical connectors, etc.), coordinating network support with multiple locations and personnel, replacing or upgrading hardware, and providing network diagrams and documentation.
- Designs, configures and manages WANs, LANs, active directory, network hardware, and servers.
- Understands and applies expertise in the area of TCP/IP
