Spherion is currently working with a dynamic Fortune 500 organization in efforts to assist them in finding a high energy NETWORK ANALYST, in PERTH AMBOY, NJ
~~~THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION ~~~~
· This position will include the direction, training, and mentoring of the technical resources assigned to your area of focus.
· This position will also participate in project level work when required.
· The project work will include (but not be limited to), research to determine appropriate solutions, project planning for the implementation of solutions, execution of the agreed to plan, and interaction with other groups and individuals to accomplish the preceding, including our global colleagues.
· Following the Quality Management / Process House guidelines will be necessary.
· This position is aligned with the Resource Management team to help drive the business, and overall organization, forward.
· Manage ticket queue on a daily basis all assigned tickets to the best of your abilities
Job REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience with Cisco ASA Cisco, Unity or related VOIP, VMware ESX Citrix SSO
- Must have EXCEPTIONAL troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Prefer at least 3-5 years’ experience in network management preferably windows
- Will be on call Must have good communications skills and the ability to manage a customer appropriately
- Must be able to perform functions including( but not limited to)
o software configuration, modification, upgrades, and patching
o network equipment software troubleshooting
o Break/fix, and investigations Perform VLAN configuration/port re-home Assist.
o Networking teams in deployment and MAC activities, Perform VLAN configuration/port re-home
o Create new tickets, Update ticket fields, Close or resolve completed tickets, Monitor and manage ticket documentation
