Network Billing Accountant recruitment
Our client, a leading Financial Services company located in Brussels, is currently looking for a (m/f) Network Billing Accountant.
Function:
As a Network Billing Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
-Create and update operations;
-Perform Tariff management simulations, manual transactions;
-Run queries in the network billing system and analyze reports;
-Handle Requests from Depositaries, Product and Client Admin;
-Upload billing files into Oracle;
-Raise manual invoices / credit notes;
-Monitor payables and network costs trend;
-Handle receivables and network costs exceptions and adjusts were necessary;
-Handle disputes;
-Run queries/ control reports in Oracle and analyze;
-Generate month- end accounting control reports.
Profile
-Degree in Accounting and qualification is preferred although hands on practical experience is imperative, preferably is a shared service center;
-Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting with hands on knowledge of accounting processes;
-Good knowledge and understanding of working with sophisticated Billings systems;
-Experience in working with and integrated ERP system, preferably Oracle;
-Fluent in English;
-French and Dutch are an asset but not a prerequisite;
-Proficient user of the MS Office suit, especially advanced excel, generally system literate and want to learn and try new functionality;
-Detailed understanding of internal controls and their importance, especially with respect to segregation of duties and authorisation;
-Analytical and have an eye for detail;
-Emotionally intelligent with proven communication skills;
-Flexible work ethic with a good understanding of what a deadline means;
-Proactive teamplayer.
