Job Description:

The Dental Network Recruiter develops the provider network yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners. Network Recruiters evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Dental providers, and ensuring the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.
- Daily travel to dental providers in San Antonio area.
- Once fully trained and operational, employee may be granted a work from home arrangement if it is within the San Antonio area.
- Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.
- Work exclusively within a specific knowledge area.
- Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines.
- Approximatey 20% overnight travel.
- Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.
- Desired, but not required: experience in working with San Antonio dental providers
Requirements:
- Experience recruiting dental provider networks, including network management,
- Proficient utilizing MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to travel to provider offices in the San Antonio area on a regular basis.
Assets:
- Experience negotiating contracts with providers.
- Knowledge of the San Antonio provider community is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
