Network Delivery Manager Job in Reading, Home Counties UK

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Network Delivery Manager to join a team based in Reading / Theale, Berkshire earning a salary of £40000 - £45000 including a 20% Bonus, Healthcare, Pension, Life Cover, 25 days holiday, Childcare vouchers and Eligibility to join salary sacrifice scheme. You will be working for the market leader who integrates TV and Mobile communications platforms, Internet, Network and Multi Media solutions for the global hospitality industry. This is a fixed term contract role but with the intention of it leading to a permanent position.

As a Network Delivery Manager your role will be to lead global teams to develop and manage fully converged ecosystems in the hospitality sector globally. Your main duties will include:

- To grow a range of network management, consultancy and delivery services created to meet hotelier changing requirements
- To manage hotel networks with strong and established industry partnerships and skilled, expert resources
- To help hoteliers efficiently manage and develop hotel networks for future growth and profitability
- Lead global teams to deliver 24x7 network management services
- Responsible to implement project deliverables at optimized cost
- Provide scoping feedback to Head of Pre-sales for delivery
- Managing all third-parties vendors/subcontractors/outsourcers
- Preparing network documentation for operations support
- People management with direct reports and cross-functional reporting lines
- Administrate development network and product test network
- Proactively manage and resolve network-related issues in customer hotel networks according to SLA
- Design and configure hotel networks
- Pre-sales network support by demonstrating core networking capabilities
- To accomplish goals in short notice and tight timeline

The ideal Network Delivery Manager will have the following skills and experiences:

- Small team management experience with leadership and motivation skills
- Network support experience in multi-site installs across multiple geographies
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Customer facing experience with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and HP Procurve
- Knowledge of WiFi and Cisco PIX/ASA/Router/IP-VPN
- Knowledge of network management platforms (SNMP/HP IMC/NMIS)
- Financially aware of cost management
- Process and quality oriented
- Meticulous and responsible
- Demonstrated technical experience in digital/analogue technology (Coax/QAM/DOCSIS) - desirable
- Knowledge of configuration management - desirable
- Technology enthusiast with good oral and written communication and presentation skills - desirable
