Network Engineer

Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or engineering, MIS, or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience
* Minimum of three years network infrastructure experience required.
Technical
* Based on assigned function: Hardware: Switches, routers, CSU/DSU Software: UNIX, intrusion detection system, firewalls, Windows OS, IP Telephony, network management systems, and network analysis, and the following are preferred CCIE, CISCO, Multi Vendor experience, WAN, Firewall, and Network Design on large scale networks.
Other
* Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel required.
* Cisco or other network vendor professional level certification (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CCVP, CCDP, etc.) preferred.
Responsible for designing, configuring, installing and maintaining the network infrastructure while providing quality and efficient network administration support, monitoring the data communications to ensure network is available to all users.
