Silicomp Belgium represents the business unit ITLabs and offers IT services through fixed price projects or consultancy. Ex: proof of concept for the digitalization of meal vouchers, application development/architecture (J2EE or .NET/C# or C/C++), business functional analysis, testing (manual automated / functional technical), project management, etc.

 

Silicomp Benelux represents the business unit NIS (Network Integration Services) and offers fixed price projects, managed services and consultancy. Ex: advice on methodology or infrastructure issues, audits (infrastructure or security), acceleration of the MPLS flow, End-point Security (encryptions of the design), troubleshooting/monitoring/change management, etc.

 

 

 

The integration services are built around a service concept: THINK – BUILD – RUN

 

THINK: conception of the solution, consultancy around a broad spectrum of solutions.

BUILD: integration of the solution in the customer’s infrastructure.

About the role:                            

 

Among our activities we deliver remote services via our NSOC to our European customer base and onsite services for our Benelux customer base.

It also operates a 24x7 Network and Security Operating Centre (NSOC) from its offices in Deurne (Antwerp).

 

Our NSOC services can be summarized as follows:

·         Log File analysis

·         Vulnerability Assessment

·         Online reporting

·         Penetration test

·         Onsite hardware replacement

 

 

Our services are mainly focused on – but not limited to – network equipment:

Tasks

 

·         Day-to-day remote management of the Network and Security Infrastructure of our customers (from the NSOC)

·         Technical Account Management: inform customers about procedures, guide them through new implementations, customer contacts

·         Monthly reporting about performances

·         2nd and 3rd line support (solving incidents)

·         Installations of the equipment of the customers (possibly outside Belgium)

 

 

 

 

 

About you

 

·         Graduate or equivalence experience

·         3 years of experience in support and/or installations of networking/security environments

·         Proven working experience in IT systems administration / support / configuration.

·         Knowledge on Operating System (Unix / Linux / Windows) and OS Security principle

·         Proficient in French, Dutch English.

·         Strong ability to work in a team, to report and to work under pressure

·         Good Communication skills and Customer Oriented

·         Cisco CCNA Certification

·         Rigorous and ambitious

·         Strong knowledge of Antivirus / Antispam / Mailrelay solutions (Ironport, SSL Gateways, DNS, Loadbalancing)

·         Knowledge in Datacompression, IPanama and/or Proxy (Bluecoat) is a plus!
