SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing networking and system engineering support to include requirements, architecture definition, system design, troubleshooting, development, integration and test. Assist in the development of new products and systems by providing networking technical support for new business development activities as well as support on existing systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


•Position requires up to 70% travel.
•Identify customer requirements for Ethernet systems deployments and recommend network solutions based upon those requirements. (Design, document, scope, support, provide alt. solutions…)
•Design Ethernet networking solutions for current and future OASIS deployments.
•Manage and plan the setup and configuration of customer sites for OASIS Ethernet Slot floor networks.
•Configure and troubleshoot Ethernet equipment for a successful product implementation.
•Recommend and deliver best practice / industry standard or better solutions.
•Train technicians on Ethernet/IP to ensure knowledge is transferred appropriately.
•Plan, implement and execute Disaster Recovery procedures.
•Manage and verify data integrity of system.
•Understand and be able to deliver consulting from end to end with our Oasis system.
•Identify and resolve operational problems and make necessary repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime and prevent future problems. Work with customers and compliance for repair approval.
•Analyze data and network trends.
•Monitor network traffic, take data gathered and recommend specific customer action at a consultant level.
•Manage network security directives as well as customer and ATI compliance.
•Install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services. Work with identified third-party vendors, keeping customer focused.
•Resolve problems related to equipment, server and client system failures, networking, and routing problems involving ATI customer networks.
•Plan and implement system maintenance and system administration to comply with standard practices.
•Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: 
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in network or systems engineering. 
•Formal TCP/IP, VMWare, and MS Server and SAN training
•Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Design Association (CCDA).
•Certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: 
•Requires a minimum of five years of systems support engineering in a highly complex systems environment or its equivalent, which included at least three years working in a customer-facing role.
(Must have excellent technical to non-technical verbal and written skills)  Along with the patience to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
•Minimum of 3 years of network support (troubleshooting, configuration, design, deployment…)
•Minimum of 3 years of Server / SAN system administration.
•Minimum of 2 years of virtual server design, deployment and troubleshooting abilities.  VMWare preferred.

Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
•Appropriate (customer / internal) verbal and written communications are a minimum requirement.
•As part of structured induction plan, employee must complete Master Certification within 180 days of hire as a condition of employment.  Must retain this certification as well as Cisco CCNA or equivalent network certification.  MS Server 2003/2008 knowledge is highly preferred.
•Advanced computer, networking, server and SAN skills are required.
•Knowledge of Ethernet, LAN, TCP/IP and WAN topologies using Cisco/HP architecture is required.
•Experience working within a project team environment. 
•Experience leading a Network and Server deployment is required.
•Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues, develop resolution plans and manage them through to completion.
•Ability to manage customers, peers and management in stressful situations.
•Must be able to pass licensing requirements for the various gaming jurisdictions.
•Must have a valid state driver’s license and continue having a valid US/State driver’s license and clean driving record.  (Ability to rent cars as well as pass all current ATI Compliance and customer jurisdiction background checks prior to and during employment in this role.)
•Ability to deliver above average work under little supervision.
