Job Description:
Interactive Data 7ticks is a leading managed service provider (MSP) for the financial trading marketplace. We’re looking for a passionate technology professional with deep technical skills, a desire to design/build/run and continuously improve mission-critical trading environments.
We are currently seeking to add a Network Engineer to the Interactive Data 7ticks team. This person will deliver and support services and solutions (hardware/software) to clients on a variety of platforms and vendors, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, etc. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in all of these areas, but a minimum of one with the ability to rapidly scale up in other areas. The Network Delivery Engineer’s goal will be to deliver high-quality products and projects by committed delivery dates, and be agile enough to respond to multiple requests.
The duties and responsibilities of the Network Delivery Engineer will include:
· Design, implement and support new and existing services for clients
· Manage, document, track network services
· Work closely with Project Management team to quickly service service delivery and service operation network projects, changes, and enhancements
· Work with 7ticks management to improve process, procedures and reduce inefficiencies
· Drive customer projects to completion while managing demanding deadlines and after-market change windows
· Be responsive to customer operational needs, often working directly with them to resolve issues

Must Have:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
· Advanced, in-the-trenches, knowledge of Cisco and other vendor equipment and its configuration
· 3-7 years’ experience in network support, design and/or architecture on complex, real-time networks
· Design and build experience in the following technical domains: VLANs, BGP, Multicast, switching, routing
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Able to work within a team and individually
· Flexible to work on/off shift to meet client, market and internal requirements
· Detailed documentation skill set

• MSP and/or trading industry experience
