Network Engineer (Senior) CCIE Cisco – Trading
Network Engineer / Architect (CCIE Cisco Juniper). Leading Prop Trading firm based in Central London is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer / Architect to be responsible for the design, implementation and management of their network infrastructure to meet growth, service and reliability requirements.
Your role as Network Engineer / Architect will include network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies; planning, designing and implementing network equipment (including Juniper routers and switches), Netscreen firewalls and Wireless APs; developing configurations to implement or modify network changes and suggesting and implementing changes to improve performance and reliability.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience as a Network Engineer, ideally within an financial environment
• Experience of designing, implementing, and supporting large scale LANs/WANs, with strong knowledge of WAN protocols (Frame Relay, HDLC, PPP, Multi-Link PPP, T1, DS3, MPLS, SONET, DWDM encrypted tunnels over public/private networks)
• Ability to use TCP dumps and / or packet captures to troubleshoot complex communication issues
• Strong understanding of capacity planning
• Strong knowledge of Network Monitoring and Management tools such as HP Openview, Zenoss
• Experience with designing, implementing and supporting VoIP based on Cisco technologies
• Experience with Network Security platforms such as Netscreen and IPS/IDS
