Description
CSC is currently seeking a Network Security Administrator to support our Global Security Solutions team on a major healthcare program in New York! Qualified candidates must have an active Secret clearance to support this contract.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide appropriate security solutions.
- Designs and develops platforms to address patch management, vulnerability management, and identity management.
- Provides input for documentation of new or existing security programs to ensure information safe and secure accessibility.
- Participates in the design, development, troubleshooting and analysis of security software programs that operate successfully with hardware systems.
- Assists in customizing purchased applications and assists in the maintenance of program libraries and manuals based on research and customer needs.
- Provides feedback and reports to management on the status and availability of security software and hardware to ensure proper functioning.
- Obtains and documents assumptions and security requirements from networking groups.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field preferred
- Six or more years of experience in network security engineering or operating systems programming
- Experience working with security system design and coding languages
- Experience working with security software design principles
- Experience working with computer hardware
