Network & Security Architect 70-90K Job in Dublin City Centre
A leading provider of ICT solutions is looking for a network security Architect to join their team and play a pivotal role in the development of LAN, WAN and Cloud communications solution design as well as managing a suite of network security solutions to underpin and secure the customer communication requirements. Role will involve:
* The design and architecture of complex network solutions based on HP networking technology;
* Supporting the unified communications strategy with design and architecture of networking solutions to support integrated communication over IP (Voice, IM, Video etc);
* The development of a suite of products, along with implementation, that secure networks in terms of access, load balancing and availability
* Working as a competency lead to:
* Lead / Contribute to the strategic development of the competency
* Develop and mentor team resources;
* Promote best practices within the competency;
* Research and identify products to add to the portfolio;
* Complete presales and customer workshops / demonstrations on the solutions
* Assist in tender preparation on solutions;
Person Requirements Abilities:
* 7 to 10 years experience in a networking environment;
* 4 years experience in architecting networking solutions in complex environments;
* 4 years in a consultative role acting as a customer advisor in terms of IT strategy development for Networking Security
* Recognised industry accreditation at a senior level;
* Strong written and documentation skills;
* Strong presentation skills
* Ability and experience in communicating and translating IT and Business needs into actionable operational solutions.
