Job Description:Provide network vulnerability identification, remediation, and mitigation/Information AssuranceVulnerability Management (IAVM). Prefered certifications for this position are CISSP/GIAC certs. (See Lastparagraph). Should have proven experience in the analysis of network software/hardware vulnerabilities and theirimpact. Candidate will be expected to recommend improvements to support a philosophy of migrating towardautomated machine-to-machine data analysis to enable network speed operations.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, ComputerScience or related IT discipline with an acceptable substitute being 5+years experience. Candidate must have acertification in one of the DoDD 8570-1M certs at Level III (CISSP, GSLC, CISM, GSE, SCNA, CISA and/or GSLC).Proven experience in Vulnerbility assessment, mitigation, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), andIAVM.Required Clearance:TS SCI CI PolygraphDesired:Customer preference is for CISSP and Global IA Certifications (GIAC) certifications. Experience in such areasas ** Risk Management, **Security Event Incident Manager (SEIM), ** Network Monitoring, **Packet CaptureAnalysis, **Forensic/Malware analysis, and **UNIX Command Line. Knowledge of IAVA, IAVM, Risk Management, RiskMitigation is a decidedly plus. A decidedly plus is/are certification/s in GIAC Network Auditor (GSNA), GIACCertified Incident Handler (GCIH), CCNA, Certified Penetration Tester (CPT) and/or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)are all positive certs.
