Network Security Engineer – US Investment Bank – LONDON – ASAP Start recruitment
My client is a leading US based holdings bank who following a strong growth period in 2011 within their Fixed Income Trading Group are now looking to bring on an experienced Network Security Engineer to protect the banks critical information assets and brand name. The position is responsible for ensuring a strong control environment that safeguards the corporate assets, whilst focussing on the configuration, deployment and support of network based security solutions.
Being a global bank, the successful hire will contribute to the overall architecture from a design and project management perspective - with regards to the complete development and implementation of the technology solutions and the strategic initiatives employed to ensure that the comapny poilicies / standards and assets are continuously protected.
The right candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be working with senior executive level staff throughout full project life cycles, of network security engineering projects - gathering requirements and defining the technical solutions for these requirements.
Key Requirements -
- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
- CISCO - CSS / CSM / GSS
- Intelligent network services - Strong knowledge / support exp.
- Checkpoint and Netscreen Firewalls
- Internet Security Systems (ISS)
- Application Secure Gateways (ASG) / Neoteris / Juniper (IVE)
- Bluecoat Proxy Services and Domain Name Service (DNS)
- User Authentication methds (LDAP , ACE)
- Server based skills
- Solaris / MCSE / AIX / CSE / UNIX / SCSA
- Firewall knowledge
- Fluent in TCP / IP
- Network Security Parameters - thorough understanding
