Scheme Manager – Bank Staff / Social Housing/ Care Manager
The hourly rate for this position is £11.00.
Hours of work: Casual - on an “as and when required” basis
Our client manages and builds quality affordable homes across the East and West Midlands. They are a major new group made up of three high performing housing associations in the region, managing over 18,000 homes and aiming to build 1,000 new homes each year.
Our client is looking for a Scheme Manager to manage the retirement scheme at Knight Court and Wellington Court at times of absence of the full-time Scheme Managers. You will liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure appropriate, co-ordinated care and support is delivered to tenants to enable independent living; promote and enable wellbeing activities within the scheme for both residents and other older people living in the local neighbourhood and establish and maintain a good professional working relationship with residents, their carers, relatives and other members of their support networks.
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience of working with older people in sheltered housing, residential care, home care, social services or health services. You will have the natural ability to identify care and support the needs of older people, as well as being a strong communicator and confident in working both face to face and over the telephone with a range of organisations, contractors, colleagues, customers and their relatives.
