Our client manages and builds quality affordable homes across the East and West Midlands. They are a major new group made up of three high performing housing associations in the region, managing over 18,000 homes and aiming to build 1,000 new homes each year.
They are currently seeking a Business Project Manager. This role sits within our ICT Team and is flexibly based within the Midlands. You will be responsible for effectively managing, coordinating and implementing all business and ICT related projects, ensuring that support and advice is given to internal users as required, project deadlines are achieved, budgets are adhered to and contractors/suppliers are monitored.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and hold the PRINCE2 foundation qualification or equivalent with previous experience of project management within an ICT function including project life cycles and structured project management concepts, financial management and procuring third party solutions. You will be able to develop and implement policies and procedures and champion these while being committed to customer excellence and endorsing the Waterloo Housing Group. A strong communicator you will be experienced at working in partnership with others at a strategic level with good negotiation skills and are able to produce clear, concise and objective written reports and presentations.
It is essential the successful candidate hold a full driving licence and have use of a vehicle, is flexible to work across the geographical area of the Group, and is able to work outside normal office hours as required.
