HR Senior Manager (manufacturing) / Human Resources Manager

Our client is a family run textile manufacturing company. Their company produces a diverse range of products in Interiors, Apparel, Technical and Industrial and through our textile innovation centre.

 

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to join their head office in Pudsey. The main purpose of this role is to develop and deliver people management strategies whilst identifying HR priorities and recommend people management solutions. Working closely with senior line managers, you will provide expert guidance, coaching and mentoring, ensuring professional advice is available to all managers and employees. You will also be expected to carry out annual appraisals, and monitor, maintain and review the system of appraisal (P, E, P).

 

Using your skills and expertise you will identify, design and implement strategic HR projects when required whilst keeping up to date with legal developments.

 

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with a real thirst for continuing personal professional development. Up to date with all aspects of employment law and HR practise, you must have the ability to coach and mentor at different levels. Previous experience in a similar role is essential and you will be proactive, self-motivated and flexible enabling you to hit tight deadlines. Managerial experience is a must as you will ensure the HR Co-Ordinator carries out their day to day responsibilities also.

 

Excellent planning and the use of your organisational skills will assist with being able to prepare and present reports. The successful candidate must also have impeccable written and verbal skills.
