Our client is an independent provider of health and social care.
They are currently recruiting for a Home Manager to be responsible for the daily operational management of their care home based in Somerset. The main responsibility of this key role is to ensure that high standards of care are delivered within the home.
Taking full responsibility for the general welfare of the clients and staff, you will be required to lead, recruit, train and motivate a multi–disciplinary team. You will ensure that the team maintains the highest level of care and environmental standards, whilst also continuing to promote the positive reputation of the home. With a commitment to quality, they are looking for a Home Manager who has the enthusiasm and drive to develop the service and constantly look at ways to improve the standard. Other responsibilities will include that financial aspects are maintained to ensure effective budgetary control and management of sales and marketing strategies.
Ideally you will already be a successful Home Manager with CSSIW (preferable) or CQC and hold a Registered Managers Award. Also, you will be either RMN or RGN qualified. A strong leader with excellent communication skills, you will have a full awareness of the Recovery Star model of support and a drive to improve outcomes for the people they support.
