Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of measurement instruments, providing reliable measurement and control of liquids, gases and dry products to a wide variety of process industries world-wide, including applications in oil and gas production and refining, power generation plants, water and waste treatment as well as chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Draughtsperson / Draughtsman to provide engineering solutions by processing modified products (Special Projects) to meet specific customer requests that cannot be met with standard level products.
You will be providing engineering expertise, detailed design drawings and manufacturing Bills of Materials to enable correct manufacture and supply of product to the customer.
The successful candidate will either be a recent graduate engineer in mechanical engineering or will have substantial mechanical draughting experience working in an Engineering environment within the process piping or related industry . Experience of CAD drawing, preferably AutoCAD, is essential. Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook would be beneficial for this role.
