Our client is the supplier with a difference!
Our client is an organisation focussed on meeting the needs of their many customers in the Social Care, Education and Early Years Sectors.
They are currently seeking a Demand Planner to join their team based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. The main purpose of this pivotal role is to hold stock at an optimum level in order to provide high service levels throughout the business. Operating a demand and forecasting software solution, your main responsibilities will include managing stock to meet targets, placing appropriate orders and liaising with suppliers to meet delivery dates and improve availability. You will also be expected to provide forecasts of stock requirements to suppliers and resolve excessive demand issues.
The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will ideally hold CIPS or CILT. It is essential that you have a solid working knowledge of supply chains and that you have a professional approach with strong analytical skills and process awareness. A strong communicator, you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels internally and externally and you will be constantly seeking to improve processes and procedures. We need a confident and strong individual who is not afraid to bring new ideas to the table and ensure that they are heard.
