Our client is currently recruiting for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to be commercially responsible for their repairs and maintenance services. You will assist in the management and control of void properties, manage a monthly cost value reconciliation process, undertake feasibility studies and prepare tender and contract documents.
It is essential that you have a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification to Degree level or equivalent, knowledge of ADR and an excellent understanding of construction and surveying methods. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor, of managing budgets and delivering key business objectives and projects to tight deadlines.
You must have a proven ability to commission and negotiate with contractors and external suppliers, excellent communication skills, are able to demonstrate prioritisation and organisation skills as well as experience of using a variety of relevant IT packages.
