Our client is the business behind market-leading dairy brands Lurpak, Anchor and Cravendale milk as well as being the leading supplier of fresh milk and cream to the top seven retailers.
They currently have a vacancy for an Optimisation Engineer to join their fast paced team at Stourton Dairy in Leeds.
Working within the Production, Technology and Development team you will be responsible for ensuring that site standards are delivered. Technically minded, you will deal with new product development and ensuring that packaging solutions are engineered and delivered whilst researching innovative developments to filling and process equipment.
The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will ideally be educated to ONC / HNC / Degree level with experience within an automation, engineering or project management role. Level headed and forward thinking, you will be capable of resolving day to day challenges that arise and you will be confident when coaching others. Previous experience of Wonderwear and Tetra Pak Plant Master along with experience of FMCG would be advantageous.
