My client is a tier 1 solutions provider and currently has an exciting and rewarding opportunity
We are seeking a New Business focussed Account Manager to work with one of our most successful Client Directors to target new business penetration within circa 20 blue chip customers across the retail and logistics sector.
Roles Responsibilities
- Proactively target and engage with c 20 blue chip accounts to drive new business within them
- Increase interaction with the customer by fostering multi-level relationships between my client and customer staff to enhance medium long-term value for both parties and improve visibility of potential sales opportunities
- Manage Partner Vendor Engagement: Maintain, expand and extend engagement of vendors and partners, managing these engagements to drive sales growth
- Analyse the competition within these new customers and effectively drive differentiation
- Perform Account Targeting and Planning: undertake campaign and opportunity planning to maximise sales effectiveness
Key Requirements
- Hunger and Drive
- New Business development experience in the IT infrastructure services market, ideally within large corporate customers
- A track record in successfully developing successful sales relationships within large corporate customers
- Strong credibility (eg professional, considered, market-aware, detailed)
- Credible technology and services knowledge and can articulate this well whilst communicating effectively with the client up to CIO level
- The ability to effectively develop and maintain customer relationships at the highest level
- The ability to work effectively with the technical solution experts in defining the right proposition for a specific clients needs
- The ability to adapt style to customer requirements
