oManagement of the new product approval process
oWorking with business stakeholders to develop new product approval application and ongoing stakeholder management and reporting as to the status of the approvals
oWorking with corporate stakeholders to review and receive approval for new product requests
oWorking stakeholders to manage and monitor caveats and scope limitations
oDevelop and implement processes and procedures for new product approvals
oReporting to the New Product Review Committee and the Risk Management and Board Risk Committees
oReporting to regulators around new product approvals
• Transaction Committees
oManagement of the transaction committee approval process
oTaking minutes and ensuring minutes are approved by committee chairman
oIdentify any conditions or caveats to the approval and monitoring and evidencing completion
oMaintaining evidence for votes and committee decisions.
In order to support delivery of these priorities, the role of New Business manager is created in order to:
• Supporting the Head of NBG for EMEA in facing off to the business, developing and deploying the New Business Group framework, products and services
• Taking ownership of key business relationships
• Providing guidance and leadership to the team of analysts and other resources
• Developing specific aspects of the operational risk framework as required
Tasks will involve:
• Supporting the Head of NBG for EMEA in the performance of his responsibilities
• Supporting and leading aspects of the New Business Group framework
• Development of specific key business relationships in EMEA – including with IBD, FID, Equities and the corporate functions as relevant
• Developing reporting and ensuring fortnightly meetings are held to review reports with the stakeholder group assigned to the VP
• Supporting in reporting to the Global WEC, NEHS Board and Risk Management Committees and New Products Review Committee
• Managing new product requests and transaction requests
• Developing and disseminating communications to the business to raise awareness of new business control function
