New Business Sales – Financial Markets / Investment Solutions recruitment
Our client, a leading niche provider of front office software and financial information solutions for the investment industry, is building a new business sales team to take a new and very compelling front office proposition to market. This company has found a niche with a unique and compelling new proposition and following the on-boarding of some major investment firms in the US this year, now require several aggressive new business hunters to make the most of the momentum and market opportunity they now have.
Appropriate applicants will have the following background experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree and an interest in the financial markets, with the self motivation and desire to succeed in sales.
- At least 1 to 2+ years sales experience and can demonstrate a track record of new client acquisition and performance against targets – must be recognized as a sales hunter. If you have sold anything within the investment / financial industry then this would be an advantage, but this is certainly not a pre-requisite if you can some sort of sales track record and want to develop your sales career within the financial markets.
- An articulate, consultative and confident sales approach.
- Have the personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.
- The ability to pick up solutions which are new and unique in the market.
- Although not required, any sort of experience/knowledge within the wealth management, high net worth client investments, RIA / Registered Investment Advisor, retail investments etc would be of great interest as this is the target client domain you’ll be selling to.
