New Business Sales: Financial Data & Trading (Asset Management Clients)

A global, well respected and extremely stable vendor with very credible and market leading trading and data solutions.

 

The Position:

This Sales position is responsible for developing new name sales opportunities as well as developing existing accounts, within large, complex or small buy side Asset Management prospects. You will take responsibility for developing sales plans for specific clients and new business prospects. Ideally you will need to know the trading / desktop data trends and competitor vendor offerings.

Responsibilities:

Formulate buy side orientated sales plans, which includes preparing call lists and prioritizing product sales for your territory.

Leverage and build upon business relationships at existing clients selling relevant buy side data trading solutions.

Monitor industry trends and competitor practices, including the impact of technology and regulatory and legislative changes on products and services

Provide recommendations internally for marketing strategies and product enhancements to increase new and existing business.

Prepare written proposals and sales presentations to strengthen customer relations and develop new business relationships.

 

Preferred Experience:

Strong knowledge of the Financial Markets including the ability to understand various asset classes would be advantageous.

A proven sales track record selling desktop (trading data) solutions.

Ability to articulate the complex functions of the buy side front office workflow, including trading

The Sales ability to navigate client stakeholders internal sponsors to ensure deals are closed successfully

Accurately forecast sales activity and pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce.com
