New Business Sales Manager – Capital Markets recruitment

The successful candidate with be responsible for generating new business and growing existing relationships.

Responsibilities:
• Generating new business and grow the footprint within existing client base
• Deliver on sales targets
• Working with internal partners in both sales and marketing for new product launches and sales incentives
• Maintain high level of product and market knowledge
• Keeping up to date on competitor information
• Work with Senior Relationship Manager to maintain familiarity with client groups
• Manage sales cycles using coordination and communication skills to involve sales specialists and Senior Relationship Manager where appropriate
• Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management
• Introduce leads to other business units where appropriate

Requirements

• Strong educational background, preferably in a finance or numerical discipline
• Strong working knowledge of financial markets
• Experience of working within or selling into capital markets or selling financial software
• Proven track record of strategic selling to financial markets
• Aptitude to work independently with minimal supervision, yet participate with the team when necessary 
• Strong negotiation skills and able to influence key decision makers during the sales process
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Must have the motivation and ability to excel in an intense, high energy, selling environment.
• Strong communication skills both written verbal
• Additional European language is highly beneficial
