Circa £55K basic salary plus commission OTE £70K+ per annum plus benefits
Our client a leading provider of managed and cloud-based services to enterprises and on-line businesses are looking for a new business sales manager. The company has developed a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for global clients, involving hosting, ensuring application availability and performance as well as security and compliance. All its customers are hosted in purpose built internet data centres. Their customers include some of the world’s leading on-line businesses and corporate with some form of mission critical business to business platform.
Job Purpose:
At present the company sells directly and through partners to corporate and enterprise customers with mission critical systems. They also sell to their existing customer base which tends to deliver around 50% of next year’s target. They are currently seeking a New Business Sales Executive to sell these services to several large new customers and to prospect leads generated through their lead generation program.
Responsibilities:
· Building a strong pipeline of leads through proactive calling and managing generated leads
· Questioning, analysing and diagnosing customer situations
· Providing consultative advice to prospects as part of the sales cycle
· Drive agreed business strategy with large customers
· Reach, quarterly and annual targets
Experience Required:
- Solution selling / Value based selling
- Writing great proposals
- A reasonable understanding of IT departments, Networks, Security, Hosting, Storage
