We are seeking to reinforce our existing presence in the USA by recruiting 2 Entry Level Sales Executives in our New York office.
This job is addressed to a sales associate who has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with a fundamental base in finance and the drive to hunt new opportunities thru prospecting and cold calling.
Requirements/Skills:
- Track record of prospecting and hunting.
- Presence and confidence to deal with ‘C’ level prospects and their reports.
- Financial product knowledge either through a background in banking or experience working with vendors such as , Reuters, Calypso, GL Trade, Progress Apama, Fidessa, WSS, IonTrading, Sungard, or their competitors. The knowledge can be single product (i.e. FX) or multiple products.
- 2-4+ years of experience
- Ideally front office experience and experience with Financial products
- Ability to work with Sales on existing prospects
- Ability to navigate easily between IT and Business universes within the prospect accounts.
- Team player who can take direction and is enthusiastic
- Not afraid to cold call
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Happy working in a small team and working under pressure
