My client is a leading specialist lender in the Irish mortgage market. They are currently looking to fill mortgage arrears executive roles. The successful candidate will be based in their Dublin offices.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience working with clients in relation to any banking/financial product(s) or in the property sector such as Valuers and Auctioneers or in credit control/collections in any other sector.
The candidate must:
- Have Mortgage collections experience.
- QFA qualifed
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to reach appropriate solutions on challenging arrears cases.
- Be flexible and driven to meet targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have experience of working in an environment where several systems and databases are used.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have fluent English.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Liaising with clients and dealing with clients queries
- Making arrangements to resolve their mortgage arrears.
- Evaluating appropriate payment proposals.
- Reviewing all options with customers as outlined in the Financial Regulator’s Code of Conduct for Mortgage Arrears and bringing these cases for discussion to Senior Management along with own recommendations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participate in monthly meetings
- General administration on customer accounts, and administration duties on internal projects.
