New Corporate Supply Chain Finance / Working Capital Solution
Our client is an established US institution launching a new corporate working capital proposition, which has “taken off” in the US over the past year with with a good number of Fortune 500 companies signing up, so great story to tell and replicate this success here in the UK.
Hence the company requires an experienced corporate banker / supply chain finance professional with a strong network of UK Corporate relationships with Treasurers and/or CFO’s, who can leverage these relationships to maximum effect introducing this proposition. The compelling working capital proposition they offer corporates certainly has very clear, risk free and profitable benefits as an alternative to other finance options currently available in the market, and genuinely has no competition – it is a market first! You will also be the first regional hire with the remit to build the UK client base on the back of some success they’ve already had here (reference-able clients and pipeline of leads to develop and close). So we are also looking for an entrepreneurial individual who is happy to work in a new regional office/set up.
We welcome hearing from those who have the following experience and qualities:
- This is a client development role, so looking for ability to develop business at senior levels with corporates, i.e. sales or origination in nature and motivated by making a lot of money on the back of commercial success.
- Able to demonstrate corporate relationships and track record of success doing business at CFO / Treasurer level.
- Domain experience and expertise likely to be in any of the following areas: supply chain finance, trade finance, working capital, corporate treasury, corporate finance etc.
- Your experience could have been gained in any of the following types of position / company in an origination/ sales, business development or relationship management type role: financial institution servicing corporates (i.e. corporate banking, trade finance, supply chain finance, treasury services, cash management, payment/transaction services etc), a technology vendor (i.e. corporate treasury, SCF or trade finance type systems), or a working capital services or consultancy/advisory firm etc.
- A pro-active and motivated individual who will “make things happen” in an enterprising environment
