General Purpose: This position will be responsible for acquiring new customers (new logo) and on-boarding those customers during their initial tenure with DB. Additionally, will cross-sell new solutions to specified existing customers through call campaigns and will maintain ownership of existing customers as needed. Annual target responsibility is approximately $500,000.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility is to obtain new customers and grow the new business organization. New sales will come from the servicing of inbound calls, web chats plus outbound calling into targeted customers via call campaigns or responding to customer inquiries. These outbound sales efforts will typically be modeled by focusing on a customer’s propensity to spend. Similarly, cross selling to existing customers will consist of targeting risk management, sales marketing or supply management solutions to non-buying functional areas within current customers.

This will be accomplished through the following:

1. Perform thorough, comprehensive needs assessments and conduct relevant demos/webinars to potential users which are customized to their needs and in turn sell the value of the subscription/contract.

2. Strong follow-up by maintaining contact with customers following dialogues or demos/webinars including customized pricing and solution quotes.

3. Collaborate with internal partners on identifying additive opportunities, handling pricing concerns and seek internal alignment on variances as needed.

4. Close subscription opportunities at specified close targets and within needed time regulators.

5. Work their lead sources to continuously add new prospects and develop their pipeline.

6. Remain knowledgeable about customers’ business practices and functions, understands the relationship between DB products/services and the appropriate needs for customers.

• 3-5 years B2B sales experience in a fast- paced telesales environment 

• Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota 

• Ability to quickly build rapport and “connect” with prospects and existing customers

• Demonstrated sales ability, assertive, persistent, good listening skills, dedication ability to work independently

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal partners

• Strong organization skills as seen through effective use of Sale Force Automation productivity, ability to type, leverage time management and various other planning tools

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent sales experience

Technical Skills:

• Experience and understanding of:

• Proficiency with Microsoft “Live-Meeting” and strong presentation/demonstration skills, typing

• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel as well as general computer navigation skills.

• Experience with sales automation tools

Bilingual in Spanish is a Plus
