My client is a successful international software house with offices in Oxfordshire. They are urgently recruiting for a Business Development manager with fluent language skills in English and French. They develop innovative supply chain software tailored for the emerging markets. They are on the verge of releasing the next generation of this software and you will be responsible for winning new business and driving sales across Central and Western Africa.
You will be based in the UK / Oxfordshire, but you will travel to Central and Western Africa for sales and client meetings, conducted in French. You will engage with clients at a senior level, driving software sales and associated licensing and support agreements from qualification of the opportunity through to contract signature. You will be well rewarded for your performance.
As the successful candidate you must have:
- A strong track record in Software / complex solution sales and business development
- Previous experience of selling a complete solution including software licensing, professional services, support and maintenance contracts
- Fluent language skills in English and French
- Experience of sales and business development in Central and Western Africa would be a strong advantage
- The ability to travel to Africa on a regular basis
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of circa £60,000 - £70,000 depending on skills and experience, plus up 100% bonus and benefits. This is a high profile role where you will have excellent opportunities for career progression.
