Global Investment Bank looking to add a mid / senior level sales person to their Emerging Markets Sales team in NEW YORK. The candidate will be selling local currency emerging market fixed income bonds to institutions based in the USA.
Requirements:
- A transferable book of financial Institutional accounts based in the USA.
- The candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience on an emerging market sales desk selling generalist fixed income ( Sovereigns Bonds / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
- A very good knowledge of global emerging markets
- A track record of revenue generation from emerging market fixed income sales to institutions based in the USA
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with financial institutions in the USA
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to global emerging market fixed income ( Sovereigns / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
- Distribution of global Emerging Markets Fixed Income, Local Bonds, sovereign bonds, corporate credit
- Build and extend marketing reach for Emerging Markets products to US - based client base
- Increase volume and profitability of existing client base in the USA
- Work with Investment Banking Department targeting new clients and expanding coverage
- Source new potential clients and onboard relationships in the USA
