The Opportunity
Our client is a well established management buyout specialist, headquartered in London. The firm primarily focuses on investments across a variety of sectors in companies throughout Europe. Due to continued growth, the firm has a rare vacancy for an Accountant to join their Fund Accounting team in London. Reporting into the Head of Fund Accounting, you will be handling the preparation of full monthly/annual financial statements for Limited Partnerships, as well as quarterly reports for investors. Likewise, you will be analysing daily cash-flows as well as dealing with draw-downs and distributions. You will be getting involved in ad-hoc project work as directed by the Head of Fund Accounting as well as overseeing the work of the more junior members of the team.
Your Profile
The client is ideally looking to meet with candidates who have recently qualified (ACA/CA/ACCA). (The client will not consider Finalists for this role). The client is keen to meet with candidates who have recently qualified within audit. Likewise, the client is also keen to hear from candidates who have recently qualified in a fund accounting function (private equity) who are looking to move across into a Private Equity firm. As with any top tier private firm, the client will expect you to have a very strong record of academic achievement with a numerate degree, along with very strong interpersonal skills.
