Our client is a Big 4 accountancy firm and they are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior Associate to complement their existing team. The Southampton office includes approximately 90 partners and staff in Assurance and provides a mix of work in industries such as manufacturing, technology, and the service sector. Clients range from entrepreneurs to major multinationals.
Responsibilities will include audit and special work for a range of clients including providing audit and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large corporate entities, on site co-ordination for audit clients including planning, day to day control, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients will be a key part of the role.
The successful candidate will be newly or recently qualified ACA or ACCA with a strong background in audit work and must be educated to degree level (2i at least) along with good academics. Other relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing frameworks such as UK ISAs. You will need to be passionate about the provision of a quality service and be happy to go the extra mile as required.
Some assignments may require travel and staying away from home, so you will need to e flexible in that regard.
