-Candidate must have experience integrating Macs in large enterprise and managing Mac deployment image builds.
-Must be able to think critically, have great attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to consistently perform routine tasks and find ways to automate them.
Skills required
-In depth knowledge of Mac OS is required.
-MUST have experience with one of the following Mac Deployment and Management tools: Radmind, InstaDMG, munki, Casper, DeployStudio, Puppet, Chef
-Should be experienced and comfortable with Unix command line and Text Editors (TextMate, BBEdit, pico, vi)
-Should have experience in the following: ACLs, Directory Services, LDAP, Kerberos, MCX, SSL Certificates/PKI, Active Directory, Mac OS X Filesystem, Network Analysis/Troubleshooting, advanced troubleshooting skills, DNS Concepts and Software packaging.
-Should be familiar with security best practices for hardening the Mac OS X/Unix.
-Should have shell or other scripting experience.
-Ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn and be able to support third party server applications.
Provides resolution to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope related to systems engineering activities, including organizing development of OS technical support, and systems programming. Works under general supervision, carrying out routine and semi-routine engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the engineering function such as, system design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support. Additionally, participates in and contributes to the fulfillment of team or functional goals and objectives through assigned projects or involvement in phase(s) of larger enterprise projects.
