Nordic FI/NBFI”s Credit Analyst
This will be a challenging role where the ideal candidate will have responsibility to provide insightful credit analysis, to ensure accuracy and have the ability to respond to investors inquiries. This opportunity involves developing an in-depth knowledge of the Nordic region's financial systems and institutions and writing thought-leading research on banks and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop in-depth knowledge of the assigned banks in the region
Build and maintain high quality relationships with Senior Management at the financial institutions
Write in-depth, high quality, insightful and focused research on credit trends, specific issuers or bank systems as a whole
Perform and present in-depth fundamental credit analysis effectively and comprehensively on a regular basis on each issuer in a portfolio at rating committees
Actively participate in regular outreach events such as investor briefings, teleconferences, conferences and third party presentations
Key Qualifications:
Strong credit/risk assessment experience gained from a financial institution, asset management or a research house
Fluency in English is essential. Fluent in one of the Nordic languages desirable.
Strong academic background at least equivalent to BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Finance or Economic subject
Very good understanding of European financial institutions and their regulatory environment especially in the Nordic region
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
Financial writing capabilities
Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills
CIMA/ACCA/CFA professional qualification would be highly beneficial
Highly organised and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
Willingness to travel across the EMEA region
