Nordic Power Analyst – Hedge Fund – LONDON recruitment
An award winning London Based Hedge Fund with a strong track record trading European Gas and Power is looking to expand its portfolio with a specialist Nordic power Analyst.
Main focus of the role:
- Development of proprietary trading strategies to monetise inefficiencies in the Nordic power market.
- Construction of fundamental models for market analysis including electricity-stack models, Hydro Models
- Providing strategy reports for Day-Ahead, Week-Ahead Month-Ahead Basis with weekly updates on longer-term strategies.
Essential skills set required:
- Nordic / Nord Pool power market knowledge.
- Statistical analysis
- VBA, SQL, C#, C++, MATLAB
