NORTH AMERICA OPERATORS PROGRAM MANAGER #1439612

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working within the modem department of NVIDIA Mobile, the North America Operators Program Manager will:
- Establish and communicate with NA MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) the exact way we engage on Network Operator platform approvals
- Work closely with the Validation QA leaders to develop the engagement and test methodology and to ensure Nvidia mobile platforms successfully go through certifications with NA MNOs
- Provide reporting on progress against objectives and communicate that progress both internally and externally
- Provide the Core Engineering link between (i) our sales objectives (ii) our technology alignment through our Strategic Marketing relationship and (iii) delivering proof points, platforms and functionality to NA MNOs
- Extend and maintain the technical relationships with key personnel, at NA MNOs, who are responsible for designing and implementing user equipment (UE) testing, providing support to sales and Strategic Marketing teams in ensuring that Nvidias prioritization of development is aligned with major NA MNOs likely needs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- This role requires a blend of technical skills, management ability and business development awareness.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- MS: Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering
- 5 plus years of industry experience, 2+ years of project management
- Good knowledge of multiple wireless technologies/standards: GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE
- Ability to multi task, manage multiple projects at the same time and drive progress to completion
- Positive attitude, flexibility, action oriented with an ability to drive progress
- Ability to drive buy-in and accountability across various functional teams (RD, Validation), still being firm with carriers
- Strong planning and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as necessary

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of network features and current deployments
- Good knowledge of protocol stack functionalities/features
- Good understanding of product development for mobile devices
- Previous software or validation project management experience in the cellular domain (ideally carriers certifications)
- Experience of developing strong relationships with third parties (carriers ideally)
- Analytical agility and ability to stay focused on the overall objective
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
