Northeast Regional Complex Care Product Director Job in Hartford, Connecticut US
This is a regional position with responsibilities to develop, execute and coordinate product level performance and model adoption and execution for all complex care markets (LTC and Dual products) for Community and State. This position is responsible for the product performance for more than 1+ B in product revenue. This position will work within the regional structure supporting the regional president and in partnership with the plan presidents. This position will report to the National Product Field Senior Director.
- Work within a matrix structure and cross functionally to manage the delivery of services via multiple functions, segments, etc within UHC CS as well as UHG to insure product performance (alignment to product models and regional/market priorities to include budgeted expectation for PL, growth, health affordability initiatives, etc as well as state policy and product design core elements).
- Comprehensive management of product performance within the region (operational, clinical, network, etc) and is required to collaborate with market field presidents/teams, identify issues, develop strategies and solution, support model adoption and best practice implementations.
- Support, achieve and deliver value to State partners, CS regional and plan presidents.
- Provide product expertise to senior regional/market leaders and foster collaboration and coordination between product, functional and markets to achieve key strategic goals.
- Support, collaborate and develop national to local growth strategies, effectiveness and retention efforts
- External coordination product level expertise with state partners, key associations and provider groups.
- Leadership and management of product field support FTEs designed to achieve stated goals and accountabilities within each region and for each local complex care plan.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree is highly preferred
- 5 to 7 years of product expertise
- Extensive Medicare and Medicaid managed care product knowledge to include Long term care products
- 3 to 5 years of prior health plan/product PL, operational, and functional accountabilities/ prior responsibilities and expertise
- Ability to develop strategies and solutions for complex issues across multiple functions and ability to translate strategies/solutions into actionable steps
- Exceptional communication skill, verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple issues and complexities across multiple markets and functional accountabilities
- Proven experience in matrix organizations and recognized achievement of outcomes and goals
