Our client is a niche software provider in the financial big data market.

This role suits an opensource pioneer. The role will be developing a number of greenfield projects which are highly secret but incredibly influencing in both the telco and financial markets. This business is well known as a market leader and attracts some of the globes best talent. I expect NOSQL developers to be contributing to the opensource community so a github account is only a start.

The successful NoSQL Hadoop Developer will work with an in-house delivery team developing solutions for a number of our clients in a variety of domains.

Hadoop NoSQL developers should have:

• Degree in math’s or computer science minimum 2:1 or equivalent
• NoSQL / Hadoop / Pig / Hive / Java
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Spring / Scala / Play / Ruby / Python / Cassandra / Neo4j / MongoDB

This role suits a market leader, your salary will reflect this but I am sure this will be the least important factor.
