NP or PA Urology - Outpatient Job

Job Description: The Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, currently has an outpatient clinical position available. In this position, the Urology NP or PA will practice as a skilled member of the health care team who, with the supervision of a licensed physician, will practice medicine by performing many of the tasks traditionally carried out by the physician. Provision of care may include, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, administration of non-pharmacological therapies, patient education, and research as directed by the supervising physician. This position does not involve participating in procedures or surgery. Basic Qualifications: Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as an ANP, ACNP, or FNP certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date. Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by the NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. The NP/PA must be eligible for DEA registration. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Exempt Hours/Pay Period: Full Time Schedule Details: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $3,473.60 based on a full-time position.
