You will be responsible for the creation of new and improved recipes as requested by marketing and customers, taking into account such parameters as cost, nutritional requirements, ease of production, required process modifications etc.
Internal and external customers will seek your advice and recommendations for future product initiatives and as such you will be involved in presenting new ideas. You’ll need to display a passion for food and have good communication skills. With a background in new product development within food manufacturing, you will have experience of working with short shelf life foods, be aware of new food trends and have an excellent understanding of how recipes come together to create the right flavours.
