Due to continued expansion and growth, Amer Sports (www.amersports.com.au) is now recruiting for the new role of Northern states: Field Sales Manager:
This role will be to drive sales growth in the Northern States, by managing, leading and coaching the sales team to achieve their sales budgets, quotes and beyond.
Reporting to the Strategic Sales Manager (based in Melbourne), your key responsibilities in this exciting role, Field Sales Manager will be:
- Management of sales results across the entire Amer Sports brands within the Northern region
- Management of the in field day to day sales activities of the field sales representatives
- To develop and drive a highly skilled, winning, motivated sales team through expert coaching on: product portfolio, territory management, sales account planning, weekly sales planning, sales calls and visits and territory management
- Sales strategy and planning is critical – you will set clear, actionable, good orientated weekly activities for the sales team
- To foster the true meaning of teamwork within your team. Your sales team will actively sell and account manage, but your role will be to coach, lead, co-ordinate and mentor the sales team
- You will be proactive, and big on “sales nous”, foster a hungry sales culture, always ethical and customer service driven, whilst identifying and closing on cross category sales opportunities
- To have the mindset of winning through the team. “Together Everyone Achieves More”.
You will be an energetic, self starter minded sales leader, with the ability to productively work autonomously.

Finally you will be an energetic motivated Sales Manager possessing minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Sales Management function delivering excellent winning results. You will need to have a strong working knowledge of the Australian Sports Leisure market and present with preferably a Marketing, Commerce or related Business degree. This role will also include travel to cover the sales team based in Brisbane, regional NSW and Queensland, and visits the to Melbourne Head Office.
